Shakespeare sonnet 18 - my version

I just have no idea what this poem actually means, but I attempted to make something of it.

You seem so bright like today
You're always bringing greatness
Nothing wrong ever effects ya
And not even the summer passing will make us forget about ya

Sometimes it seems like you're too much
You're not as bright at times
And each time something happens,
time is passing by

We all do know you're not going away
Or forget who's important
We'll find ya when we least expect to
And the future will hold the rest of the course

As long as we are still alive
We'll live and help each other.
